Understanding your Business
The foundation of all our work begins with us gaining an insight into the nature and needs of the business we are working for. Imaginative, innovative design is at the heart of our business but we recognise that the success of a business rests on clear communication. It is never enough just to look good if you fail to communicate your key brand benefits.
Stage One - Design / Creative
When we produce any creative, we explore all aspects of the design - the fonts, colours, textures, image styles and layout which effectively communicate the company and its’ services.
The final creative then becomes a reference point for future brand marketing, whether it be brand collateral (brochures, fliers, stationery etc), exhibitions, advertising, public relations or in this case, website development. This creative clearly represents a style which will form the basis of your ongoing collateral, whether digital or printed.
Clear identity guidelines and references are also provided to ensure consistency across everything.
Stage Two - Structure & Collation of information
Key to building a website in the most efficient timeframe, is collating content. Often we find that this part can slow down the process as some clients struggle to write copy. We can help take bulleted notes and write coherent content which communicates your business both effectively and succinctly.
Stage Three - Final build
Once there is approval on the creative & structure, we begin the final website build, initially creating a set of pages online to test that you are happy with design, structure, function and navigation. You are encouraged to test the site on all devices and feedback comments.
The site will then be populated with all available content.
At key stages you can visit your development area to see current progress.
Stage Four - Training / Go Live
On completion, we will provide instruction on how to make changes and administer your website.
